Student Life Building & Mechanical Services strives to deliver an extraordinary student experience by providing eminent services and facilities for students, staff, and guests.
Consisting of 100 full-time employees, the department maintains over 5.7 million gross square feet in 130 separate buildings. Our staff is available to respond to your facility requests 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.
When to request our services
For non-emergency requests, please complete a request at https://s2f.osu.edu/ . Non-emergency requests include items such as light bulb replacement, broken furniture, and torn window screens.
For emergency, urgent, or life safety issues, please contact 614-292-HELP (4357) and a representative will assist you immediately. Emergency or urgent requests include issues such as broken windows, loss of heat, electrical hazards, or flooding.
