Fire Safety

The Risk and Emergency Management Department facilitates fire safety strategies including inspection, training, testing, code compliance, and educational programs for all of our facilities both on and off campus.

Our fire safety program includes the:

  • 54 fire alarms that are monitiored 24/7
  • staff training
  • fire safety training
  • fire drills
  • smoke outs
  • event planning
  • reporting
  • invesigation

To ensure the safety of our staff and students, we collaborate with:

  • University Fire Prevention
  • OSU Burn Center
  • State Fire Marshall
  • Columbus Fire Department
