Risk and Emergency Management

Workplace Safety

Risk and Emergency Management strives to meet or exceed all workplace safety training and certifications. We partner with other university departments to develop comprehensive training for a variety of Student Life employees.

We ensure compliance with the Public Employment Risk Reduction Program (PERRP) Act to ensure public employees in Ohio have safe and healthy working conditions.

We represent Student Life on the University Safety Committee, which addresses workplace safety issues and helps departments to comply with workplace safety regulations.
